Council 62: Hanging Up the Blue and Gold

Sisters and Brothers,

This can be an emotional time for us. This is a time where emotions will be “worn on our sleeves”, so to speak. Our enriched history is what makes us who we are, and we cannot forget our past. By hanging up our respective navy uniforms, we need to acknowledge that this is not a good-bye to our past but a hello to our future. For some of our flying partners, these uniforms were all that was known, a proud identifier of one’s history and beginnings, a way to set ourselves apart. Here are a few photos of some of our co-workers during the last few days of wearing the Blue and Gold.
