Known Crewmember (KCM) for Flight Attendants Starts October 22, 2012

Dear Members,

Known Crewmember (KCM) for Flight Attendants Starts October 22nd.

Who is eligible: All active uniformed United Flight Attendants.

What to do: Present the TSA officer at the KCM entry point with your United Crew ID and government-issued photo ID.

How it works: Once a TSA officer at the KCM entry point verifies ID and employee status, crewmembers can proceed through security without further screening.

All crewmembers remain subject to random full screening. If the TSA officer is unable to verify employment status, crewmember should proceed through standard screening process, and then notify Inflight Supervisor as soon as possible.

The TSA plans to issue barcode cards in the future to expedite verification.

Where:
IN EWR: KCM Entry point is Terminal C: Security Checkpoint 3 Exit Lane; open 0400-2115.

IN IAH: KCM Entry point is Terminal E: Near Lane 6 of Checkpoint; open 0500-2000. Also, Terminal A: Direct Acess Beside Checkpoint Exit Lane; open 0400-2000.
